### Durante el proceso de transporte de materiales en un transportador de correa, si los materiales adheridos residuales ingresan al asiento de rodamiento del tambor o rodillo, acelerarán el desgaste de los rodamientos y harán que la superficie de la correa transportadora se enrase y desgaste debido a la adherencia de materiales en la superficie del tambor o rodillo. Si el material se desvía hacia el tambor de cola del transportador de correa o se adhiere y aglomera en la superficie del tambor de tensión vertical, causará que la correa se desvíe, aumentará el desgaste de la correa e incluso podrá desgarrar la capa de caucho del tambor, con consecuencias graves. Si el dispositivo de limpieza es eficaz, se puede extender la vida útil de los rodillos, correas, tambores, etc. Por lo tanto, la capacidad de limpieza del limpiador juega un papel crucial en la mejora de la eficiencia y confiabilidad operativa del transportador de correa, la reducción de la tasa de fallas del equipo y los costos de mantenimiento.
